Torsa's collision avoidance system provides an advanced solution based on 3D LIDAR technology, artificial intelligence cameras, and high-precision GNSS (with RTK ) to detect vehicles, pedestrians, and obstacles without the need for tags. With continuous environmental monitoring and real-time visual and audible alerts, our system ensures a safer and more efficient mining operation. It also integrates with fleet management systems to optimize safety and productivity.

High-Precision Proximity System

TORSA’s high-precision proximity warning system for Excavators is based on LIDAR technology. This system analyses the interaction between vehicles and the excavator itself with 0.100mm of precision, ensuring safe loading operations.

Through a simple interface, the excavator operator is informed of all vehicles and obstacles around him, in a non-invasive method, alerting him acoustically and visually, only in the event of a real risk of collision, which makes the system an effective tool for risk reduction in loading operations.
